Nars Super Orgasm | Illuminator

Nars is a brand that I really am growing to love, the assortment of colours and range of products, coupled with the at first chic (then grubby!) packaging, just lends itself to making the brand a lusted over one!  If you've been reading my blog, you probably know that I got hold of the Blush / Bronze trio a while ago (review here), and the kind ebay seller added a little extra into my package, in the form of the Nars Super Orgasm highlighter.  To say I was a little thrilled is somewhat of an understatement: even though the product is only 2ml, hardly any is needed to make an impression on the skin, so it will last me eons!

To look at it in the tube, it appears a gold-flecked pearlised peach, with hints of pink, but definitely leaning towards the peachier side.  

On the skin, this warm-toned peach is all the more evident, with the gold shimmer becoming the star of the show.  Blended, the pinkier aspect blends away to almost nothing, leaving a peachy sheer wash on the skin, with flecks of gold running through it.  This is definitely not an illuminator for those of you who have a thing against shimmer!  It is, however, lovely and warm-toned on the skin, and is a more golden, peachy, sheerer version of my Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in petticoat.  

Comparing it to the Orgasm blush I have, the Super Orgasm leans more gold, Orgasm is peachier - Super orgasm is more flecked with shimmer, whereas the Orgasm shimmer is blended in better to the product!
