In this week alone I have 3 make-up fails. Which is weird cos I generally like every piece of make up, at least for the first couple of weeks. Now, I'm not saying these will be fails for you - it could be my skintone, it could be my mood, it could just be me! All 3 of these are really supposed to be cult products (new ones, but still cult) but I just don't see the fuss at all. Here we go.
This is Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Sprint. It looks like a palette I should love, after all I am a Barbie, but it just doesn't translate on my skin. I don't find the powders finely-milled enough, and I think the colours just don't do me any favours!
So after my failure on the pink side of Sleek, I thought I'd get Sugar. The colours looked wearable, and perfectly nice, but again translate weirdly on my skin. Meh, it looks like such a nice palette.
And finally, the most epic fail of epic fails. I truly was excited to get this lippy. I loved both of gagas Viva Glam lippy, her first one is one of my all time faves. But this is such a weird lippy. Its stupidly opaque. Like I've painted my lips. But at the same time, I find it almost chalky. The colour, which from other people's blogs and reviews I had expected to lean slightly corally, is not corally at all. It's a pink that I honestly can't even describe, and when I apply it, it literally looks like I've drawn a line of ridiculousness on my face! I so wish I liked it.
Meh complainy post, but I've got to be honest with my views! Anyways, these are now all going up on ebay, the lippy has been only swatched, and the blushers have literally hardly been touched. Annoying that you can't return make-up! Or if you fancy buying any of them off me, let me know!
