Before I start this post, I would just like to say that my heart will forever belong to the Nars Sheer Glow in Stromboli.  But this girl has fallen on slightly hard times and after a "thief" decided to decant themselves about half of my beloved Nars potion, I literally have a few drops left in my bottle.  Hmph.
So I have decided to save my drops for when I really need them, and have been exploring other foundation options.  I super wanted Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua, with its beauuuuuuuuutiful texture, and being Chanel, I thought to myself this is perfect.  I got matched to the shade B40 and absolutely adored the finish and texture, but upon returning to the mirror on the windowsill of my room, I realised woaaaaaaaaah I look pink.  It seems that Chanel runs far too pink for my Simpson-ian hues.  Big fat sigh.  After a little research, and trying the likes of Shu Uemura (gorgeous shades and textures, but too expensive), Clinique (not one colour to suit me in literally their whole collection, but I loved the finish of quite a few) and Bobbi Bown (made me look sooooo old) I came upon a sample of the Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid in 2WN1 in a magazine.  I tried it.  And it was love.  It is almost perfect for me.  The shade could be yellow-er BUT I have no qualms about it.  It retails at £27 but I found it on ebay for £22.  What I would say though is after using it regularly, I would definitely pay full price.  I love it.
It is a silky smooth textured liquid, which melts into the skin amazingly.  I generally use my fingers to apply one layer, to ensure that it really melds with my own skin, add concealer, then add another layer with either an Elf Stippling or Powder Brush, or my Sigma F82.  The different brushes afford me different levels of coverage - the stippling brush is the most natural finish, and the F82 is used to make it a more higher level of coverage.  I then tend to use the Elf Powder brush to buff over, regardless of which brush I've used for the application, as I find it softens the look of the foundation.  Somehow, this fairly runny, thin liquid manages to be at least a medium coverage, but is definitely buildable. Wear time is excellent.  The other day I put my make up on around 11, went shopping, came home, went for a couple of miles walk, and it was STILL intact.
Basically I love it.  And I think you should get it =).
